You're absolutely right- as much as I don't want to admit it. Whether we like it or not, the PS2 IS STILL SELLING. I just thought that Sony was better than that. Like we stated, they have always been a legacy company, but maybe that's changing. I would surely be nice to be able to play my copy of Beyond Good & Evil instead of being forced to purchase it again as DLC. I mean, I can, but there are many that cannot and GAWD is that a shame.

at first i was completely against the idea of a 3d metroid, so i didn't get the game till later on in the GC lifecycle. once i saw it for cheap, i decided to give it a shot, and holy balls was i blown away. not only did it make the transition perfectly, but it was a showcase of the GC's power.

one thing that i really hate is how later versions of the game, Retro "patched" the sequence breaking. there was a few places you could use certain techniques to get to places you shouldn't be at that point, and get items you shouldn't have. and it seems in the trilogy they did it again, and that is completely wrong.

sequence breaking has become a part of the metroid series, and is a big reason why the games are so replayable.i could see if it was something everyone could do, and would ruin the flow of the games, but its not. you need to take alot of time and have some skill to do these things. its almost like an unintentional bonus for the hardcore fans.

but anyway, aside from that, Retro did good with the Prime series.
