When I had originally petitioned Josh(nasero) to do an episode of Critical Music, I was not aware of how much work it would be! But, this one features a lot of composition near and dear to me and, boy, is it ever a rewarding thing to finish. Some of this music has been featured on our show, and hell- maybe YOU are the one who introduced me to it! Here’s the description from Critical Strike:
Continuing the rotation of guest hosts on Critical Music brings another one I was truly excited for! On this episode we’re graced by good friend from The Gamesmen, jsslifelike who brings a nice mix of emotional tracks he’s come to love in the time he’s played video games. Nintendo and Mistwalker have released the first trailer for the upcoming Wii RPG, The Last Story. Not much is known about the game thus far, but a few things can be discerned from finally seeing the game in action. There appears to be some sort of cover mechanic that plays off of the element of surprise as well as a “Monster Hunter-ish” set of your party’s life gauges down the left side of the HUD.
